SCBWI Sequester conference 2005 at the Abbaye de Royaumont

November 4, 2005.

In the morning, we arrived at the Abbaye de Royaumont! Back again after 6 years away, I was thrilled to be there. We had wonderful and inspiring speakers. We had free time in the afternoon to write, and I used some of mine strolling the abbey grounds and taking pictures of this beautiful place.

Pillars left at one end of the abbey suggest it was once much bigger. Posted by Picasa

I never tire of photographing this tower--all that's left of its section of the abbey. Posted by Picasa

Even the walkway around the inner courtyard is lovely. Posted by Picasa
