I lived in Ulmen from 1975-1979 and loved the people and countryside. Your pics brought back memories of the castle and the Maar where we used to swim. My dad was stationed at Buechel and we lived on Hindenburg Strasse, but I had friends who lived down the hill where you lived. Please send me any pics of Ulmen that you have, or if you need any info from me let me know. I babysat the Colonel's children as well as most of the American children of people stationed at Buechel for those years. I had many German friends from those years.
Thank you, Debbie
